Well the "Windy City" wasn't that windy! In fact, it was warm and downright nice! Now Santa Clarita on the otherhand has been too warm, and now firery!! Let's pray the fires are put out quick and the firemen are safe.
On to my reason for writing tonight: the True Women Conference in Chicago, IL. What a great time I had with the other ladies from Placerita. The conference was put on by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Life Action Ministries. I learned alot and am looking forward to working through some of the issues I was challenged by.
I had an opportunity to listen to Joni Earekson Tada. She is a wonderful woman of God who was paralyzed in a diving accident when she was only 17 years old. I signed up to hear more of her ministry to disabled children. She lives in Agoura Hills, CA and it will be great to learn more and more of her ministry. I bought a book as well that is a 31 day devotional for parents of special needs kids. I'm looking forward to reading it.
I'm not feeling 100%. So after taking Noah to school tomorrow, I'm off to the doctors. It seems like I've been in the doctors office alot lately.
I'm also considering writing a book! What do you all think of that desire? I've had a few good, funny and somewhat serious conversations regarding my "life" with Noah. I've got a lot of room to think and pray, pray, pray about... let me know your thoughts?
